Shirley stream death not being treated as suspicious

The body found in a stream at the back of a Shirley Road Church is of a middle aged female.

She has not yet been formally identified so her name cannot be released.

Inquiry head Detective Senior Sergeant Brian ARCHER says that as a result of preliminary post mortem findings the death is not being treated as suspicious and her death has been referred to the Coroner.
