Henderson Police are investigating a possible homicide at a residential address in the suburb of Te Atatu in West Auckland.
Police went to the scene in Kerril Avenue, Te Atatu Peninsula at about 5.30pm today Saturday 14 October 2006. On arrival they discovered the body of a female aged in her 40's in a bedroom of the house at the address. The woman was deceased.
The body of a male aged in his 50's was also discovered at the same address. The body was inside a vehicle in a garage on the property. The man is also deceased.
Police will maintain an overnight guard at the property. A scene examination and area canvas will be carried out tomorrow. Victim Support is assisting the relatives and families of the two deceased.
No further comment will be made by Police until tomorrow afternoon.
