An 18 year old male is in a critical condition in Auckland Hospital after being stabbed at Tui Glen.
Police say that about 11.20 am yesterday they went to the Tui Glen reserve where they found the young man with serious stab wounds to the stomach. A search for the weapon is being carried out.
An ambulance was called and the victim was rushed to Auckland Hospital for emergency surgery. His condition this morning is described as critical.
Police have arrested a 17 year old male and he will appear in the Waitakere District Court this morning on a Crimes Act assault charge. A remand of one week will be sought. No plea will be entered.
