A 48-year-old woman has been charged with murder following the death of a 29-year-old woman in February.
The 48-year-old had been charged with intent to cause grievous bodily harm in relation to an assault in Pirimai, Napier, on February 1.
The victim died in hospital on February 28 as a result of her injuries.
The 48-year-old is due to appear in Napier District Court today.
