Wellington Police are seeking information following a possible hit-and-run in Wainuiomata in the early hours of Saturday 10 December.
A woman was found near the Wainuiomata Golf Course on Coast Road. It is believed she had been hit by a car between 2.30am and 5am this morning.
Police would like to hear from any motorists who were travelling on Coast Road between 2.30am and 5am this morning so they can be eliminated from the investigations.
Police are also interested in hearing from anyone who may have information about vehicles in the area that have returned home from overnight with panel damage.
The woman who was injured is in a stable condition in Wellington Hospital.
