Overnight Whanganui Police arrested a 30-year-old man who had been wanted by Police.
The man was arrested at a residential address without incident.
The man has been charged with a range of offences including using a firearm against Police, receiving stolen property, possession of methamphetamine and amphetamine for supply, selling cannabis and methamphetamine, failing to stop for Police and operating a motor vehicle recklessly. He is due to appear in Whanganui District Court today.
Two other people were also arrested at the same address last night for unrelated matters. A 31-year-old woman was arrested on drugs related charges and will be appearing in Whanganui District Court today. A 53-year-old man was also arrested on drugs related charges and has been bailed to appear in Whanganui District Court on 23 April.
