Wanted man Kershaw Howard was arrested this morning following a search warrant executed by Police and AOS.
Mr Howard had warrants for his arrest for aggravated robbery and unlawful possession of a firearm.
He was found at a Papakura address and attempted to flee.
Mr Howard was apprehended with the assistance of a Police dog team just before 9:00AM.
He was taken to Middlemore Hospital for treatment for a dog bite and is under police guard.
He will be appearing at the North Shore District Court when released from hospital.
