Waikato Police investigating Matamata death

Attribute to Detective Senior Sergeant Stephen Ambler: 
 
Waikato Police are investigating the death of a woman at a Matamata home today. 
 
Emergency services were called to the house at 1pm. 
 
A man at the property, who was known to the woman, has been taken into custody. 
 
A baby at the property has been injured and is being airlifted to hospital. 
 
More information will be released as it becomes available.
