After an exhausting 10-day search for search and rescue staff and volunteers, a rāhui will remain on the area for the rest of the week.
While the rāhui is in place, Police will be considering its next steps in our efforts to find the men.
Unless there is a significant development this week, we do not intend to release further updates to media.
The rāhui allows the families and whānau to reflect in peace, while Police fully reassess the search and make a thorough plan for the remainder of this extensive search operation.
