A man has died and a second person has serious injuries following a crash on Huxley Road, Whanganui this morning.
The crash was reported shortly after 11am and involved a car hitting a power pole.
Huxley Road at the intersection with SH3 is now open.
The Serious Crash Unit is investigating.
