Police can confirm two people are deceased following a serious crash south of the Tokoroa Golf Club on State Highway 1 this morning.
A third person has suffered minor to moderate injuries, in the collision between a car and a truck.
Diversions remain in place off State Highway 1 northbound at Ongaroto Road and southbound at Campbell Road.
