Hamilton Police have returned to the Melville scene today supported by ESR Forensic experts. The team expect to be at the scene all day looking for evidence to assist in reconstructing the events that led to the death of a 29 year old Hamilton man.
The 29 year old victim will today undergo a post mortem in Auckland. His identity will be released later today.
The homicide inquiry is in its very early stages and it is too soon to speculate on various aspects of the event. Investigators are speaking with witnesses and the community, and are seeking more information to help piece together the events and background of what took place.
