Statement to be attributed to Inspector Mark Fergus, Waitemata Police
The Police Eagle Helicopter is conducting a further aerial search of the shoreline up and around the Kaipara Harbour this afternoon, which is expected to continue into this evening.
Sadly, Mr Afamasaga is still missing and Police remain in close contact with his family.
The search will be reassessed on Thursday morning and a further update will be provided after 8am tomorrow.
