Police are still investigating the cause of a crash yesterday on Russell Street, whereby a six-year-old girl died after being hit by a truck.
The Police Serious Crash Unit continues to investigate to determine the cause and there is no further information available at this time.
Police extend their condolences and thoughts to the family and friends of the deceased at this difficult time.
Police also wish to thank members of the public who assisted at the scene yesterday.
