Emergency services responded this morning after a truck crashed down a bank in Paremata Crescent, Wellington.
The truck, which was carrying soil, appears to have been reversing down a driveway and lost traction on grass bordering the driveway, coming to rest on a parked car on the street.
The truck driver was shaken by the incident but fortunately was not injured. There was nobody in the parked car at the time.
There will be partial road closures in Paremata Crescent while soil is removed from the truck to enable the truck to be towed.
