At approximately 11.28 am on Saturday, 30 November a bus carrying a group of Israeli tourists was travelling North on Old Taupo Road, Rotorua.
As the bus travelled past Manuka Crescent, a 16-year-old male pedestrian has been struck by the bus sustaining serious head injuries.
No other person was injured.
The Rotorua teenager is currently in a serious condition Rotorua Hospital.
