Police are still investigating a family harm incident at an address in Stokes Valley, Lower Hutt this afternoon.
It has now been established that there is no second victim in this case.
A man is still in a serious but stable condition in hospital.
Police are currently undertaking various inquiries at addresses around Lower Hutt to locate the alleged offender.
At this point, we don’t believe they are a risk to the wider public.
