Police are investigating the stabbing of a 21 year old male in the early hours of Sunday 1st May 2016.
The victim has been admitted to hospital with stab wounds to the neck and back.
The incident occurred outside the "Bottle O" store on the corner of Princess Street and Moray Place at about 3.30am.
A large number of people were in the immediate area outside Brimstones night club at the time.
Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the vicinity at that time and saw the indcident, and would ask that they contact Dunedin Police ph 03 471 4800.
