Silverdale workplace incident – name release

Waitemata Police can now release the name of the person killed in a workplace incident in Silverdale on Friday July 1.
 
He is Peter Donald Tregoweth, 57-years-old from the North Shore. 
 
He died on Friday morning at a factory in Silverdale after heavy timber fell on him while he was working.
 
Police have referred the matter to the Coroner and WorkSafe is investigating the incident.
