Police and emergency services are responding to a crash on Whangaparaoa Road, Stanmore Bay, where a person has been seriously injured.
Police were called to the two car crash on the road, between Dobell Road and Blue Heron Rise, about 12.35pm today.
A person is in a serious condition and is being treated by ambulance.
The road is currently closed in both directions and lane closures are expected for some time.
Motorists are advised to expect delays if travelling through the area.
The Serious Crash Unit is in attendance.
