Emergency services are responding to a serious crash near Matamata on State Highway 29.
The two-vehicle crash happened just after midday at the intersection with Hopkins Road.
Indications are at this stage there are serious injuries.
Diversions are being put in place - motorists are asked to avoid the area if possible.
