Serious crash River Rd, Tuakau

Part of River Road in Tuakau is closed following a serious crash involving a quadbike and a tractor, which occurred just after 12pm.
 
The driver of the quadbike is in a serious condition and being taken to hospital by a rescue helicopter. The driver of the tractor is uninjured.
 
Police and Emergency services are at the scene of the crash. The Counties Manukau Serious Crash Unit is also at the scene.
 
Part of River Road is expected to be closed until at least 3pm today with traffic diversions in place from River Rd to Whangarata Rd, and River Rd to Tuakau Rd.
