At approximately 4.00pm on Friday the 11th of December emergency services attended a crash on the Ida Valley-Omakau Road.
A male aged in his 50's received serious injuries after the motorcycle he was riding left the road.
The male was flown to Dunedin Hospital by rescue helicopter.
