Police and ambulance attended a serious crash in Southland tonight on Watt Road, Otatara.
A motorbike collided with a power pole and the rider sustained critical injuries.
The crash occurred at about 10pm and the Serious Crash Unit are completing a scene examination.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
