Serious assault - Queen Street, Auckland

Police are investigating the serious assault of a man on Queen Street at around 4.20am today.
 
The man is in a critical condition.
 
Enquiries are under way to locate the offender.
 
Queen Street is closed between Shortland Street and Wyndham Street while police examine the scene.
