Five teams, including a specialist tracking team resumed the search for 26 year old Dutch tourist Ken Boogers at first light today.
The tracking team is going to his last known location on Pillar Pt track. Other teams are checking the shoreline and cliffs along the coastline from Wharariki to Farewell Spit.
Weather overnight and today is fine however there was heavy rain in the search area on Sunday.
Police are still keen to speak to anyone who has seen Mr Boogers since Saturday. Anyone with information should call Nelson Police Ph 5463840 or Takaka Police Ph 5259211.
