Police and LandSAR volunteers from Eastern Southland and Tokanui are currently looking for 69yr old Neil William STIRLING, believed to be missing at Glenham near Wyndham.
Mr STIRLING's vehicle was found near the Mokoreta River about 5km south east of Wyndham.
A white water Kayak expert has assisted with the search today.
The police National Dive Squad will travel to Southland tomorrow to commence a water search.
Police ask that any persons who may have seen Mr STIRLING contact Invercargill Police on ph 03 211 0400.
