Police are continuing t0 search for the missing Far North diver this morning.
About 3pm yesterday police received a report that a 25-year-old man had not returned from snorkelling off rocks on the eastern end of Cable Bay. His catch bag had washed ashore.
Police started a search yesterday using two coastguard boats, a plane and police staff. Family members helped the search.
Four members of the Police Dive Squad are searching the water today and Police Search and Rescue staff along with Far North LandSAR volunteers will be searching the shoreline.
