The couple who were victim's of last night's hostage situation have advised Police that whilst they appreciate the public concern for them, they would like privacy and ask that media do not attempt to contact them, that includes by phone, email or by visiting their property.
The 64 year-old man was at home with his wife when the offender is alleged to have broken into their Bombay home in the early hours of this morning.
The man was taken at gunpoint and forced into his own car, his wife was left behind at the home. Both are uninjured but are understandably quite shaken and request that their privacy is respected by media.
They will not be doing interviews with any media outlets.
