Porirua Police are investigating an assault on a 16 year old female which occurred in the alleyway between Mungavin Avenue and Wiltshire Place, Porirua at approximately 4 pm on Sunday 6th March 2016.
The suspect is described as a male Maori or Polynesian, aged in his 30s or 40s with a moustache.
Detective Sergeant Dave Jones of the Porirua Police would would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information relating to it.
In particular, Detective Sergeant Jones would like to hear from a woman who was in the Wiltshire place cul-de-sac and was approached by the distressed victim and assisted her by giving her a ride home.
