Between 8pm and 8.40pm on the 9th of June 2016 a red Subaru Justy was stolen from outside an address on Mavora Court, Invercargill.
The vehicle has then crashed into a wheelie bin outside an address on Conyers Street near John Street, Invercargill.
The driver has left the scene with the vehicle on top of the wheelie bin and the engine still running.
Police are calling for members of the public who may have witnessed any suspicious behaviour on Mavora Court, or seen the crash to contact Constable Jake Garrett of the Invercargill Police on 03 211 0400.
