Police are seeking information related to an assault in Cobham Crescent, Stoke last night.
At approximately 7:15pm, a woman was assaulted by an unknown man while on the footpath.
The offender is described as Maori, aged in his early to mid fifties, approximately 5 ft 6" tall, and of a slim build.
At the time of the assault, he had a beard and was wearing a grey sweatshirt and jeans.
Police do not believe the incident is related to an assault on a young girl earlier this week.
