Police would like to speak with anyone who may have witnessed a white Holden Commodore VX which was being driven in a dangerous manner on State Highway 63 in Wairau Valley yesterday afternoon.
Police believe people may have seen the car, registration YI2112, speeding between the Renwick and Wye Bridges between 1-2:30pm.
The vehicle was carrying two occupants - a male and a female.
Due to the number of roadworks in the area the vehicle likely would have stood out to members of the public because of the speed it was travelling at.
