Police are looking for 25-year-old Jeremiah Bishop and have a warrant for his arrest.
Mr Bishop is described as a Maori man of solid build and 170cm tall. He has short black hair, a tattoo on his upper right arm and a scar on his right forearm.
Police believe Mr Bishop could be in Taranaki or Manawatu.
