Police investigating aggravated robbery on Division Street, Christchurch

Police are investigating the aggravated robbery of a dairy on Division Street in Christchurch last night.

At approximately 9:02pm Police received a report that four males were involved in an aggravated robbery where ice cream was stolen.

It is believed at least two of the offenders, with their faces covered, have entered the dairy armed with baseball bats. 

The shop attendant has used a fire extinguisher to protect himself. Fortunately nobody was injured.

Police enquiries are continuing.
