Please attribute to Detective Shawn House, Dargaville Police.

Dargaville Police are investigating an aggravated robbery which occurred at the Warehouse at approximately 11pm on Sunday evening (28 May 2017).

Two offenders, who were armed with weapons have entered the store, threatened the staff and taken off with jewellery and cash. Luckily, no one was injured in the incident.

Police are currently carrying out a scene examination and are reviewing CCTV footage.

A number of items of jewellery were taken in the robbery and it is highly likely the offenders will be looking to on-sell these items.  Police encourage members of the public to be on the lookout for jewellery that is being sold cheaply and to contact police immediately.

Also taken during the robbery was a significant quantity of cash including notes and coins.  If you are aware of anyone who may have large quantities of coins or notes that may seem out of the ordinary, police would like to hear from you.

If you have any information which can assist police then please contact Detective Shawn House on 021 191 5776.  Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Police would also like to remind the public that we will be offering a reward for any information provided through Crimestoppers as part of our recent stolen goods campaign that leads to a successful prosecution of these offenders committing aggravated robberies. It is important to note however that to be eligible for a reward you will need to provide your details to Crimestoppers when you call.
