Police investigate after woman found critically injured

Police are investigating after a woman was found critically injured in Orchard Road, Christchurch this morning. 
 
Emergency services were called to the location shortly before 6.50am. 
 
A man at the scene has been taken into custody and is assisting Police with our enquiries.
