Police hold grave concerns for the safety of North Shore man Denver Chance, who has been missing for over a week.

The 43-year-old was last seen leaving the room he rents in Mairangi Bay, North Shore, around 3.30pm on Sunday 24th February.

He told his friends at the house he would be back within the hour, before driving away in his red 2008 Nissan Skyline with the registration LGH476.

Denver hasn’t been seen since and he was reported missing to Police on Wednesday.

He has not been in touch with his family or close friends the entire week, which they say is very out of character for him.

Detective Senior Sergeant Megan Goldie says Denver’s family and friends, along with Police, have serious concerns for his welfare.

“We are doing everything we can to try to find Denver, and have a large team of investigators working to piece together his movements and locate him. We’re asking the public to help in his search too, so anyone who may have seen him or his car is urged to contact Police immediately.”

Denver is described as 178cm tall, of solid and muscular build, with dark brown hair and a tattoo on his shoulder and down his left arm. He also wears an Oakley watch. He was last seen in shorts and a singlet.

Anyone with information is urged to contact North Shore Police on (09) 477 5000 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
