Police are continuing to investigate the deaths of two people at a home in Pukekohe yesterday afternoon.
Police have been making a number of enquiries since they were called to the address at 3.10pm and located a man and woman deceased.
A scene examination is ongoing today and there will be a continued Police presence at the property.
Formal identification processes are still being completed and Police are still in the process of notifying all next of kin.
Post mortems will be carried out tomorrow.
Police are providing the man and woman’s family with support through Victim Support.
As the Police investigation is in its very early stages and Police are still working to establish exactly what has happened, Police are not in a position to comment further at this time.
