Fatal crash in Patea - UPDATE-1
Police can confirm that three people are dead following a fatal crash between a vehicle and a truck on Egmont Street in Patea this afternoon.
The Police Serious Crash Unit is currently in attendance and an investigation is underway.
Diversions are still in place due to the road being closed and motorists can expect continued delays when travelling through Patea.
Police appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact local Police or they can give information anonymously via crime stoppers on 0800 555 111
