Nelson Police executed a search warrant at a property in Nelson this morning, in relation to stolen firearms.
A stolen rifle was located during the search and the occupants of the address are assisting Police with their enquiries.
An indoor cannabis growing operation was also located.
An 18-year-old man and a 55-year-old woman have been charged with cultivating a prohibited plant.
They have appeared in the Nelson District Court this afternoon where they were remanded on bail until their next appearance on 19 December.
