Wellington Police have arrested and charged a 38-year-old man on two charges of burglary. He will appear in the Wellington District Court today.
One of these is a joint charge of burglary with 26-year-old Pita Edwards who will also appear today facing over 20 charges.
The second charge relates to the recent burglary of Motel 22 in Lower Hutt.
Senior Sergeant Steve Harwood says "Police are pleased to bring this man's alleged offending to an end and contribute to halting the recent string of burglaries from commercial premises around Wellington City".
