Police appealing for witnesses to Johnsonville assault

Wellington Police are appealing for witnesses to an aggravated robbery in Johnsonville early on Sunday morning.

Four 17 year olds were walking along Petherick Crescent in Johnsonville, at approximately 1.30am, when they were attacked by three offenders.

Two of the group were assaulted and property including wallets, a cell phone and a jacket were taken.

The offenders are described as of solid build, Maori or Polynesian, aged 17 to 20 years old.

One of the offenders was wearing a grey hooded top. Another was wearing a black hoodie and a black cap with a logo on it.
