Dunedin Police are investigating the serious assault of a 63 year-old man on Pine Hill Road near Hislop Street.
The incident occurred at approximately 11.10pm on 31 December 2015 and police would like to hear from anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area.
Police are looking for information about, or sightings of, any suspicious persons or vehicles which may be able to help us in piecing together what occurred.
