A 28-year-old woman has died in hospital following a two-car crash in Palmerston North this morning.
Emergency services were called to the one-way bridge on Turitea Road at 9:15am.
The sole occupants of each vehicle were transported to Palmerston North Hospital by ambulance in critical condition.
Unfortunately, one of the patients was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
The scene was clear just after 11am. The Serious Crash Unit is investigating.
