Penrose serious crash - update

Police can confirm the driver of the car, which appears to have crashed into a fence on Rockfield Rd in Penrose this morning, has died.
 
Motorists are asked to avoid the Rockfield Rd area if possible, and diversions are expected to stay in place between Konini Rd and Marei Rd until around midday.
 
The Serious Crash Unit is now investigating.
