Police investigating the disappearance of Blesilda Gotingco (Blessie) have released two pictures of items she is believed to have had with her on the night she disappeared.

Blessie's watch is an Omega, described as an Omega constellation mini, it's two tone with a diamond bezel and a mother of pearl face. The picture attached is believed to be an exact replica. She is thought to have been wearing the watch on saturday.

Blessie also wears glasses for reading and the attached picture is an exact replica of the glasses she is believed to have been carrying with her on Saturday night.

CCTV footage has confirmed that Blessie left her workplace at Tower Insurance at 6.53pm on Saturday night. The footage appears to show her leaving with some urgency.

Enquiries into which bus Blessie may have taken are ongoing. She is believed to have owned and used a Hop card regularly, however at this stage it appears she had not registered the Hop card. Police are working with the bus company and Auckland Transport to try and ascertain the details of other passengers who travelled on those buses.

A man who believes he may have been on the same bus as Blessie has been in contact with Police and enquiries to confirm whether this is in fact the case are currently underway.

Investigators are also reviewing and continuing to gather CCTV footage from not only the Auckland City area, but also from the Birkdale and Verrans Corners areas.

Blessie's family are being supported by friends and Victim Support, and are understandably distraught. Blessie's husband is on his way home from overseas and will arrive back in the country tomorrow.

The 0508 number has received more than 20 phone calls and investigators are now working through that information. Anyone who noticed anything that may have seemed out of the ordinary or suspicious in the Birkdale area on Saturday is asked to phone 0508 596 739 and speak to the enquiry team.

Detective Senior Sergeant Stan Brown says public information is crucial to the investigation;

"Someone out there has to know something and we are appealing to you - please get in touch. Blessie is a loved mother, wife, friend and workmate and not knowing what has happened to her is unbearable for those close to her. Remember, you can give information anonymously to the organisation Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, or ring the 0508 number, but please help us to find Blessie."
