Auckland City CIB have cordoned off a property in Onehunga where the body of a young child was found after Police were called to the address at 4am. One person was removed from the scene by ambulance shortly after Police arrived and has received medical attention in the following hours.
Police are in the process of locating the child's next of kin and will get underway with a scene examination this morning.
No further information is available at this stage.
