One dead in Central Hawke's Bay crash

One person has been killed in a crash on Pourerere Road in Central Hawke’s Bay this morning.
 
Emergency services were notified at 5.35am that a vehicle had rolled down a bank.
 
The passenger died at the scene and the driver has sustained minor injuries.  
 
Pourerere Road is closed near the intersection of Clareinch Road while the Serious Crash Unit examines the scene.  
 
The road is expected to remain closed for a couple of hours and Police thanks motorists in advance for their patience.
