Name release - Paremata crash

Police can now name the woman killed in a crash on Walker Avenue, Paremata yesterday afternoon.
 
She was Enid Florence Alexander, aged 87.
 
Mrs Alexander was a passenger in the car at the time of the crash.
 
The driver, an 88-year-old man, remains in a critical condition in Wellington Hospital.
 
While enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing, initial indications are that the crash was a tragic accident.
 
Our thoughts are with the family and loved ones of Mrs Alexander and the injured man.
